Impressions based on day at airport: Cold. Militant. Unfriendly. Airport was empty, lots of space, eerily quiet. They had this out of place jovial santa claus doll/statue in the midst of this really sterile enviornment-strange. Afraid to cough least they quarantine me for bird flu. (Have a cold). We went through about 5 checkpoints just to transfer to our connecting flight and had to keep filling out the same health forms. I know the U.S. is just as bad but come on. Japan really spoils you -everyone is so polite and friendly. They have "Panda Cigarettes" in China, nice. Ate really good mushroom soup at airport. And paid like $5 for a Snickers. Our plane was delayed 2 hours. I was beyond tired. Thought the flight was going to be canceled. I was so happy when they finally let us board!

INDIA
Got in around 10:30p.m. Turbulent flight but so happy to be headed to India so it was all good. Our hotel Prince Polonia is really nice and the guy who runs it was really helpful--had all our train tickets and everything ready for us.
